Candi Staten
Candi Staten is the owner and operator of iKandy Hair Studio. The salon was established in 2014. Candi has been doing hair for over 30 years. She started out braiding hair in her parent’s home at the age of 13. She moved to Raleigh NC in 1997 and attended Mitchell’s Hair Academy to attain her Cosmetology license. She worked in 3 different salons in the RDU area before moving back to Elizabeth City to work at Unique Braids to braid hair full time. She also worked at All Dolled Up Salon before she moved on to get her salon. She now specializes in Dreadlocks/Locs.
